Ngorongoro Crater conservation area is pioneering experiment in multiple land use as the park has the multiple purpose of integrating the protect of local people with that of wild nature , the latter being divided in to two separate biographical systems. The vast plains in the west and north are definitely a part of the Serengeti ecosystem, whereas the centerpiece of the other part is the breathtaking Ngorongoro crater, one of the natural wonder of the world.
Amazingly, the crater floor is a natural sanctuary for almost all the large animals’ species essential to the East African plains. Its highlights include one of the Tanzania most viable populations of the critically endangered balck rhino or browse rhinos, and its also here that the density of great predators headed by by hyenas and lions, is the highest in the world.

Zebra, Buffalo, Hyena, Blue monkey, Serval cat, Wildebeest,
Kongoni, Dik-kids, Hippopotamus, Olive baboon , Vervet
Monkey, Senegalgalago, Bushbaby, Eland, Thomsons gazelle, Bat –eared fox,
Hartebeest, Jackals, caracal, cheetah and lots of birds, insects and many
floral and plants.
